Dr Babita Biswas (Hon. Ph.D)

Dr Babita Biswas is the Founder-Chairperson of BRIATOSHS, is a renowned artist known for mythological and modern themes, she continued to work on the most challenging making series of paintings of Jaidev's legendary work entitled Geet Govindam through world-known Worli folk-art of one indigenous community in Maharashtra. Her legendary paintings have been exhibited in various countries and are widely appreciated, especially by Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, Queen of Britain in 2011.

She contributed her services to social work, especially in reproductive health. Being a Philanthropist, Babita is a well- known change maker for the revival of positive kinds of social change and overall development of society, especially for womenfolk. Associated with BRIATOSHS, she is positively active to make the masses aware of their sustainable economic growth and above all pre and post-natal facilities at the grassroots level. Inspired by Gandhi, Vinoba, Dr. Baba Amte, and Dr. Deendayal Upadhtay, Dr. Babita has great concern for men standing at the end of society.
